Did you think that the FLDS was the only group that branched off the LDS Church? Read: Apostates. Well, here’s an interesting list of denominations that most people have no idea about.

Would it be correct to ‘label’ all these folks as apostates and hostile and never extend any compassion towards them? Apostates. I think so. Unworthy of compassion. Absolutely not. I don’t think that’s what Jesus would do. However, I find it interesting that there are so many of them still active while none of them are part of the official LDS Church. Most people don’t realize just how many of these types of ’sects’ there are. Well, except for you now.
