Well, it’s been over a week since President Hinckley was called home. He passed away right on the Sabbath Day just as the wife of brother James E. Faust passed away this last Sunday as well.

Coincidence. Perhaps. Lots of people pass away on Sundays but, for some reason, I feel that the Lord has called these two wonderful people on His day. Which makes me wonder if our days here are the same as in Paradise in the Spirit World. Where is the Spirit world anyway? Is it here in a different dimension? A parallel universe to us? Far away from this earth?

We know it’s a great place and it must be a sight to see considering the millions and millions if not billions of people how now share that realm. We don’t know a great deal about it but I suspect that future revelations might give us more insight on the meaning of the great and small, bond and free over there. Of course, I’m personally not to anxious to find out for sure what’s there, not yet anyway but I can’t help being fascinated by what a wonderful world that must be since hundreds if not thousands of people worldwide end up there on a daily basis, not to mention interrupted lives and suicides.

In Mormon doctrine, I’ve learned that there is Paradise and Prison. The word “prison” sounds a bit harsh but that’s the word I learned about in Sunday School. Anyway, fascinating topic. I will leave you with this video, which is fantasy, of course, but it gives me a Hollywoodish grand view of what the world of spirits might be like:
